Decision Architect. Barcelona.
Serving founders across EU, UK, and US.
I have spent my career inside other people's companies.
Across high-tech, entertainment technology, manufacturing, hardware, software, retail operations, startups, and large corporations, I have worked at almost every stage and scale a company goes through. And in every single one of them I watched the same thing happen.
Decisions were an afterthought.
Not because the people were incapable. Not because the companies were not successful, many of them were. But the framework for how decisions should actually move, who owns what, what triggers a call, what the standard is, was never built upfront. It got built reactively. When something became a headache. When an escalation landed on the wrong desk for the tenth time. When a fast-scaling team that had operated leanly for years suddenly found itself doubling in size with no structure to hold it.
I saw this in early-stage startups and in departments of global corporations. I saw it in companies that were thriving and in companies that were breaking under their own growth. The pattern was always the same, the founder's judgment was holding everything together, and nobody had ever built the system to replace it.
When I moved to Barcelona I made a decision.
I had spent years inside companies across every stage and scale, accumulating pattern recognition that most consultants build frameworks around without ever having lived it. I was not going to give that away quietly in the background. I was going to build something with it.
That is what Decision Architect Studio is.
A service built for the founders I kept watching struggle with the same structural problem, not because they lacked capability, but because nobody had ever built them the system to make their judgment scalable.
I sincerely want founders to succeed. Not as a professional courtesy, as a real conviction. I know what it feels like to be inside a company that is working hard and growing fast but carrying more friction than it should. I know how to come in calmly, see clearly, ask the right questions, and build the system that removes the weight.
That is the work. And it is the only work I want to do.
Barcelona was not a practical decision. It was a feeling.
I first came here on my honeymoon. I did not speak the language but the city felt immediately like home, warm, alive, human in a way that stayed with me long after I left. After a decade in New York City, a place I genuinely loved, I knew that if we ever left, it could only be for Barcelona.
We made the move and it has been everything I hoped it would be. There is a calm energy here that I did not know I needed until I found it. On Sundays the city slows down. Things close. You are gently required to stop, to rest, to live differently. It sounds like a small thing but it is not. It teaches you that a slower moment is not a lost moment, it is how you build something that lasts.
Barcelona is also becoming something genuinely exciting, an international city with a growing entrepreneurial community, companies relocating here from across Europe and beyond, a budding tech scene, and people from all over the world choosing to stay. I have built friendships here that feel like home in the deepest sense of that word.
It is the right place to build a studio that serves founders across the EU, UK, and US. Barcelona sits at the intersection of those worlds, and so does this work.
If any of this sounds like your company right now…
The decisions routing back to you. The team that is capable but not moving. The sense that you are the only thing holding it together.
That is exactly what I work on.
